What is the world coming to?
What is happening where everywhere I look there are people being kicked when they're down, people preaching hatred and others cheering them on?
Why is it that a smile is so hard to come by?
Why is it that everyone only wants to look out for themselves?
Why does everyone want to hurt each other? Start wars with each other where there will be no winner?
We're so caught up in vengeance, negativity, hatred, busying ourselves with excluding everyone and anyone we can from wherever we can. We're seperating ourselves from each other because everyone seems to want to hurt one another.
How come whenever I listen, I just hear pain? All I hear is suffering, tears, and "every person for themselves".
Where has the good gone? Where has positivity and generosity gone? Forgiving and supporting each other? why do these things seem to be so foreign now?
I'm living in a world of hate and darkness.
And I just can't handle it much longer.
