Polypores live both under and above water and feel themselves comfy enough in any of these environments.
When in sea, they can go relatively deep, regulating inner pressure with help of special cameras inside their shell - there polypores would feed on sea-slugs and different tiny fauna and flora. On the shore and nearby terrotories they eat remnants of animals and plants which they find by smell with prehensile tentacles.
