gesture drawing is challenging :^(

I'm so frikkin bad at it. 30 seconds and I can barely get anything down

I know the pain, I get petrified when I try to draw nowadays. I did a freebie for Deo recently but I had so much trouble with it I just balked and sent it as finished as i could possibly make it

Back to your gestures, I think you've got a solid start! Are you into Vilppu, or maybe Stanchfield? Their books are pretty big on gesture!

haven't heard of either of those. I just turned on this little gesture site to draw them for 30 min.

Glen Vilppu is one veeery old man! Walt Stanchfield used to work for Disney, and Glen Keane was one of his students. I don't know about Vilppu's books outside of his drawing manual, but Stanchfield has his series of books "Drawn to Life" and gesture is a very consistent feature in his lectures! They're not written BY him if I remember, but they're essentially a compilation of his notes and lectures in book form!
