Actually Rotor is © Archie Comics, due to he only appears in that comic and Satam cartoon.

Well, since the comic eventually became based on the cartoon, wouldn't he be copyright DIC?

I was having this discussion with somebody yesterday, and we honestly had no idea who owns the rights to any of the characters anymore. My bets are on a joint ownership between Sega, DiC, and Archie. How DiC is still in this equation at all is beyond me though. :s

I purchased a bunch of cels from SatAM, and the lady that sold them to me said Sega got pissed and confiscated the rest from DiC after they found out they were being sold to the public. My guess is Sega actually owns all of this shiznit, even remotely related stuff.

He looks mostly like the pink Rotor, or Boomer, from the early Archie comics, and the SatAM Pilot episode "Heads or Tails".

That episode was FAR too trippy!!
