As mentioned in my last pic. My fursona, Jammer Highwind, has been updated. I'm now a skunk.
I've been thinking about this change for a few years. There are several reasons for this change...
I first created my fursona sometime in 2004. At the time I created him I was still developing my interests and what I wanted to do as an artist. So I made my fursona a fox seeing as it was a generic choice. Foxes were never really my favorite animal, that was more skunks. So now my fursona fits my interests more.
The more I'm trying to come up with my own original ideas. It just becomes more and more obvious that my old design was based off of Miles "Tails" Prower. To the point where it looked like a rip-off to me.
There are other minor reasons: my favorite color being blue, wanting a more unique design, the new tail makes the butt easier to draw, and so on. The redesign was mainly due to personal preferences.
The redesign is not a huge overhaul. Mainly being a color scheme update with minor changes, (the tail and the whiskers.) Everything is relatively same, seeing the previous design had quality of a skunk in the first place. The ears are bigger than usual for a skunk, but that will be unique to my character. This is more or less the final design. Might still be up for subtle changes.
