Endless Realms - Venoms & Poisons
Corebook artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Venoms, poisons, and other typically nefarious substances! This one gave me mild organic chemistry lab flashbacks, but ended up actually being kinda fun :b

This has no animals, therefore I don't care..... except that's just not true here.
This is exquisite. The colors, the contrasts, the lighting..... There's exactly the sort of mood I remember from my fond days of playing TES:Oblivion.
I don't even know how to define it, but I do love this.

Heh, I think I know what you mean. I'm normally like, "This is just stuff, stuff I don't care about," but yeah, there was something about this one that made me think of organic chem lab shenanigans and TES crafting and just nerding over "tools" (I have a bit of a stationery fetish :V I think it's an Asian thing :b). Anyway, glad you like it, despite the glaring lack of animals ;)
What sort of games do I like playing healer/support classes? Most games, actually, provided it's not a "soloing" type game (ie. going through Skyrim with only healing magic is not my thing :b) I'm a very "support class"-type person IRL.
However, the game I was specifically referring to in this case is the Pathfinder campaign my husband is running - it's been going for a year or two now, although we tend to only be able to play once a month or so, since we're in a different time zone now, everyone has conflicting work schedules, and three of our players now have babies :b It's sort of vaguely horror/survival/Cthulhu-esque in theme where having a healer/anti-undead person is actually fairly important a lot of the time :b

Being fast, high-damage is my primary interest. I've done tons of tanking, and I like that a lot too, but I just end up doing so by necessity so much that I suppose it gets tiring after a while. And in games like WoW, it really is the hardest job too, so it's nice to switch up. Healing class is interesting. I like to play one, but unconventional. It's often pretty relaxing, unless it hits the fan..... triple-pull, tank DCs, honestly, those are the best times. I love healing a broken group of clever players
Not sure how this all translates to table top though. I've literally never been invited to such a game.

I can love those types, too! Fast and dodgey as hell can be super fun ;) I also love sneaky stealthy types >:3 Even better if I can combine them! I find it depends on the game/system, though.
If you like how WoW plays, 4E D&D is very similar in feel, where every class sort of has a "rotation" that's analagous with every other classes "rotation" but differs in flavour. Y'know, if you took away the abilities' names and just looked at what it DOES, all the classes actually end up having a lot of overlap. Deal melee damage, deal damage at range, deal AoE damage, deal DoT damage, stun/knockback/cc, etc. 4E is really similar in that way, you get abilities that do one or several of those, and some have effective 'cooldowns' so some you use regularly while others you only break out at specific times :b
We, however, don't play 4E - while some people found the combat really conveniently streamlined, generally everyone ended up liking Pathfinder better (which is more like D&D 3.75E and is popular with people who didn't like where 4E and 5E went). Basically, you can pick classes, but there are no set talent trees, you can build them practically however you want, yet there are lots of rules and structure that gives tons of flavour to your character depending on how you build them, although it's hard to explain without really going into technical details of the system :b

Oh I combined them alright.......feral druid. Add to that getting to do it all as a lion, and I was dancing in HELL YES.
So this Pathfinder variant sounds a bit more Skyrim than WoW(golden age, not simplton crap they use now), roughly speaking. Am I close?
I actually like a highly customizable character, so that's cool. What's odd though is that no one seems to play Ironclaw. Played it ONCE years ago, so technically I have played something kinda like this. I think Never could talk anyone into hosting another game.

Yes, I always wanted to play a feral druid, but I started my Worgen right around when we all ended up quitting WoW, so poor Galvenius didn't get much play time :b
Yes, Pathfinder is to 4E as Skyrim is to WoW might be a good way of putting it :) I've never actually heard of Ironclaw, but you might enjoy Werewolf? Play as werewolves/werekitties! I mostly know of it because I've seen fun character sheets around that always have four forms - human, feral, anthro, and "monster," which I've always sorta wanted to do for my main character who isn't from the Werewolf games but is a shapeshifter, just for fun :3
