This is sort of a self-portrait of a few weeks ago:
I'd just bleached my hair (poorly, It came out like a dirty creamsicle, but was kinna cool: http://imgur.com/a/ZPVms ), I'd burned my neck with bacon fat (lol it blistered), and I was and still am going through my second emo phase

It cannot be more literal.
I was planning on cooking a flattened chicken breast in bacon fat on the stovetop. I am afraid of the sizzle that happens when I put raw meat in a pan. I dropped the second half of the breast in the pan and it "flapped" down, splashing my boyfriend's arm a little and a lot of my shirt/neck. He wasn't nearly as burnt, and I didn't get burnt where my shirt was, but my neck was bad enough to blister up. I was laughing, so it wasn't so bad, but I did need aloe on it for a few days.
And thank you! That's my IRL kitty, Chich. We have a rule where she is only allowed to have two feet on my desk, but simultaneously hates this rule and likes to be held, so we sit like this a lot.
