Growing up with an affinity for magic in a 21st Century world where such skills and abilities are scarcely seen or witnessed is by no means easy. Especially when she found out she could cast magic on the night following news of her parents being K.I.A. by summoning an eldritch horror in her bedroom while she was asleep. So since a master of the arcane arts isn't exactly available she kind of has to learn on her own.
This is her learning how to cast her first spell. Little does she know that right now she's being watched by someone whom will later become the teacher she needs.
