This was my first attempt at making anything furry related, I must thank you tube for helping me with the eyes.
My daughter needed to be Papa Bear for her end of year play that since kids in her class decided to do for the 5th graders. Had about a week notice to make it. I didn't want her going with the cookie cutter bear hat that so many kids would wear over winter, so I figure how Hays could it be, harder than I thought, but well worth it. Took about 8 hours of time over two days to do it. I went to a Goodwill and picked up a larger teddy bear for a dollar and then proceeded to give the beat a new life. The paws my daughter is wearing is actually the arms of the teddy bear, and the TB legs became leg warmers, but she didn't have those on after school. Any who, in rambling now, but figured I'd share my little project here, since without having found this site years ago I never would have known this was possible. All of her teachers loved how well the costume worked, especially that you couldn't see my daughters eyes through the fabric 😁,. Some time this summer I am going to attempt a full fur suit for myself, who knows, maybe I'll become a fur suit maker by next year 🤔 thanks for reading all of this, blessed be all.
