First of all, this is just too cool, it really does make me want to pet him. And yet, I cannot.
Someone else mentioned the little canine and I do think that is very cute. However, I really haven't gotten a chance to see many pictures of raccoons, a certainly not any this close, so I hope you don't mind me asking but do you know if all raccoons' jaws are natural like that, or is it just this one in particular?
Finally, I didn't notice your reflection in his eye until you mentioned it in a comment, but now I can't not see it. It's almost eerie to see how well that reflection works.

Nope, not a good idea to pet a raccoon. :P
As far as I know, this guy's jaw is typical of a standard, healthy raccoon... the incisor poking out would seem to be a normal thing (just not something that usually shows up in mid-range photos).
