Mostly I use just a normal pencil for sketching and a very basic small tip drawing pen and a marker for inking (mostly because that's all I could find laying around my desk when I started drawing). all the colour and stuff is done on the computer using a shareware version of Paintshop Pro (some day I really should actually get hold of the full version).
I use the windowed side pannel of my PC and my desk lamp as a light-box, and standard A4 inkjet printer paper to draw on.

I always try to work with only what I have available at the time,... mostly cos I can't afford to buy new equipment :P

I'm a bit obsessed with the phoenix. This design is really the best I've seen. This design *is* missing the signature phoenix tail, however. A very distinctive feature.
