Got a new tattoo last week. Some of you may know exactly what this number stands for. For this that do not let me give you some information.

This number. Is simple to some. But to 22 families a day it is a horrible number. Because this number is truly a sad number. This is a very heavy number. It is an area that we as Americans are failing at. It is a number that we can easily get down to ZERO. The day this number hits ZERO will be the best day in the world.

So what am I talking about failing? Why is it sad? Why is it a horrible number? Becaue this is the number of Veterans that take their own lives each day. This is the number of families torn apart by grief from that loss. This is the number of brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, sons and daughters that are lost every day.

So on this Memorial Day Weekend and every day after. Plead if you know a Veteran that is struggling needs help or even a shoulder. Be there for them. They are our most devoted defenders. Willing to lay down their own lives for us to enjoy what we take so easily for granted.

So please. Remember all of our Veterans. As the saying goes "War is hell" and "Grater love half no man, than to lay his life down for his friends"
