I have a fable for rapiers and Rabentriller just looks so badass. I love it. Amazing work with the colouring and the point of view, too it generates the perfect atmosphere of him being superior and victorious after a long fought duel.

What inspired you to create Rabentriller in the first place, if I might ask?

Oh, it's a very long and kinda weird story))) I'll try to explain, hope my poor English won't stop me.
Rabentriller was created 11 years ago (oh my), when me and my friends were writing a story about some aviation squadron. There was a war between anthros and humans. Our pilots were anthro people, and leader of the project asked me to create here some sinister political agitator as a secondary character. Later, I loved him more than main characters :D And he developed into a guy with a complicated and sorrowful biography.

As main inspiring thing, I guess it was WW2 cartoons (that's why he's so creepy). Now Rabentriller had kind of rebirth, there was a lot of other inspiring stuff for now.
As for young one, I've been inspired from Amigos del ABC (Les Miserables by Viktor Hugo), especially Enjolras, and some aspects of European history of the XX century beginning (socialists, etc.). What about his look, maybe you recognized some Blacksad's features :)
