hrm...what a title.
SO! after I realized this drawin' looked better without her legs, I thought...I'm trying to get peeps to buy art from me...so maybe I should show them that I have more than one way to colour! So, I pulled out my guns. I bascially coloured it on the comp like I would with markers or water colours. SO, ...I suppose I'll just try to get more samples up and I'll set up some offical prices. Besides, it's good practice and I don't submit enough art online to begin with.
So, I actually would really love to hear what anyone thinks of this colour style, it's the first time I've posted somethin' in this form online. So Crit! Comment! Both would be loved and appreciated!
enjoy!
I'm gonna go make another attempt at sleep now.

Hey hey! Lovely character, and a good set of colours you've picked here.
I've looked over your pic for a few minutes here, and I feel that the this style of yours could really benefit from a little softer (custom) brush! The one you're using here is too blocky - you can see the shape of it too easily, the sharp angles and the little weird shape. One with less pronounced edges and more general roundness would work nicely, I imagine. At least, that's what I'd use, anyway.
Also! If you've coloured this with a PC tablet, I recommend using more of the opacity adjustment with the pen pressure sensor - less pronounced lines for instance on the background really help sell the picture. Once you've set down some basic colours, use your own picture as a palette, picking and brushing with the midtones too!
My suggestions, up up and away!
