Timmy, the Easter Bunny
Ooh! Look what I dug up from earlier this Easter and forgot to post!
Or at least that's what I tell myself to make myself feel less bad about not finishing it in time for Easter. XP I was real excited to be doing something for someone who had a great influence on me, so excited in fact that I wound up over-doing it and drawing a whoooole buncha bunnies when two woulda sufficed, thus driving back the ETA on completion and making it impossible on myself to finish in time, cue the post-holiday depression of failure and you have a lackluster holiday pic two and a half months late. =p Had to take it kinda easy on the shading here, otherwise it'd still be in limbo. <X3 And I really don't feel like I did the justice to Timmy's head, but perhaps another picture of him some day would turn out a little better, now that I'd had some practice with more cartoony, stout heads rather than the anime style I'd been so intent on. XP Anyway, enough of my depressing nonsense, have a little flavor text!
This year for Easter, in a village of bunnies, the adorable gentle-bun Timmy was designated by the dear and darling Kyle Dragon to be the Easter bunny. This means they got to orchestrate the festivities and funsies and Easter games and selecting the prizes for the Easter egg hunt. After scattering a copious amount of plastic eggs about the meadow, they set the young buns loose and got the designated Easter bunny himself prepared for the prize, or rather, he was the prize. One of 'em at least. The grand prize, arguably. In most of the little eggs were small prizes, cute little trinkets mostly, and some were filled with only the finest air in town. Other still had little slips of paper hidden within. Vouchers for minutes. Minutes one gets to spend tickling the Easter bunny! A vast majority of the hunt was spent in the gentle warmth of the Spring sun, with the meadow echoing with the sounds of nature, wind, and a gleefully giggling bunny. The participants could turn in their vouchers at any time, but only one at a time for fairness' sake. But regardless, Timmy was kept well occupied the entire time anyway. One minute, two minutes, five minutes, while the little ones got the allotted time on their prize slips, the Easter bun got a near-constant stream, with Kyle sneaking in some coochies of his own every now and then, just to get the stocked cutie to yip and squeal a little louder every now and then. Overseer's privileges, perhaps. Once it was about time to let Timmy out for the evening, it was time for one more little bit of fun. Some bunnies didn't get as much time with the Easter bunny as others did. So Kyle sets the swarm of young rabbits loose on Timmy for one last good group-hurrah! Timmy squealed and flopped about in his padded seats as the group of bunnies wiggled their fingers into every ticklish crevice of his torso, legs, and feet, and the meadow was overcome with laughter, both ticklish and amused from the hoard of bunnies, who quickly evolved from gang-tickling Timmy, to having a group tickle-fight with eachother. Kyle used this time to release Timmy from the stocks, but Timmy had energy to spare yet, and dragged the ticklish dragon into the fray of the tickle-brawl. As if an adorable bunny hive-mind was present, Timmy seemingly sicced the entire hoard of fuzzy ticklers on his friend, who was quickly reduced to a wriggly, laughing mess in the grass, covered in bunnies and their tiny skittering fingers. Timmy grinned and giggled at the sight, and after catching his breath from the previous super-tickling, dove into the fuzzy pile of tickles grabbing whatever foot his hand landed on, tickling randomly until he found his way to the big green pair. Enduring the tickles from half a dozen other bunnies, he hunkered down over Kyle's feet, laughing loudly from the from the fingers assailing his own while scribbling the soft, shaking dragon soles that were being held down in place by the weight of several tickle-happy rabbits. Seems like the festivities were only getting started. Happy Easter~
