Diakonos is the vessel for the two lesser Serpent Gods, Jormungand and Orobos, The sibling Gods have taken the place of Dia's tail, ironic as neither gets along well with the other and they often bicker and argue, much to Dia's dismay.
While Dia's tails cause them great annoyance, they DO grant a wide range of useful abilities, such as their main ability, metal-bending, as well as accelerated healing, minor telekinesis, and to an extent, foresight.
Dia, Orobos, and Jormungand are not bound to eachother by choice, but have managed to come to an agreement to work together to find a way to lift their respective curses and separate their bodies.
Jormungand and Orobos were bound to Dia as punishment for their trickery and in-fighting. The Greater Gods saw this as a fitting punishment, as it would force them to get along. Dia just happened to be an unlucky passerby and ended up stuck as their vessel. They're a rather strange bunch really.
