And this is Lance and Tamsin. Lance is the son of Grayson and Hallie. At 17, he's your average teenager, wanting to step out and see the world with his own eyes. He's fair and kind and every bit his parents' son.

Tamsin is one of the young women (16) in the village. She's quiet and keeps to herself because of the harassment she gets from the other villagers due to the place which she was born. Her native village was reviled as a place of dark magic and a land of witches and gypsies. Her father was not from that village, but married a woman who was. It is the belief that his wife bewitched him into marrying him, yet since she has died, they have directed all their attention on harassing her daughter. Tamsin means twin. She has a brother who remained in the land across the sea.
