 
                
                    Apollo blew a whole bunch of random sailors to his temple at Pytho when it was first built to be priests there. He did this by jumping onto their boat in the form of a "Monstrous Dolphin" and caused the winds to jerk them in the right direction.
This Pytho (meaning Rot) also got the name Delphi-- dolphin
This is from the end of the Delphic Hymn to Apollo, as translated by Charles Boer. The relevant passage is five or so pages before the end though.
I'll probably just take photos of the book from now on, because it's old and my scanning has been pulling the binding apart way too much.
