when I was repping a plane up in Quebec, they had a whole flight of these right next door - some were turbines and some were recips...

It must be awesome to see that. Last time I saw some in operation, it was while I was in the Vercors, in the full middle of the nature, I just saw, something like 20 or 30 minutes before a Mirage 2000B doing a low flight training over the mountains, I then saw two of theses, both with turboprops, flying in formation over the mountains, they were certainely training for the summer.

it takes a lot of skill... fires cause a lot of updrafts and down drafts...
