I decided to make a "study" of a red-tailed hawk, I figured I would get some experience not only with feathers, but also with the look of an avian. I happen to have chosen the sky blue to make it look slightly as if the bird is perched high up. And yes, I like the unfinished look. It's a study, not a full-blown art project.
