Piranha's are cool. Though people are afraid of them because they think the second you touch the water they're in that they're going to eat you up. But this is not the case. You have to be bleeding and flailing about when entering the water. The bleeding and flailing makes them think you're something dying. So they eat you. :3

Yup, farmers on the pantanal usually use a injuried cow to attract the attention of a group of piranhas, when they eat they make such a fuss that it makes dangerous animals like the jacaré (a kind of crocodile) stay away. :D

I was watching an experiment on this one nature show I saw on tv a while back to show people how the Piranha's act. The guys were graciously walking about in the water and the piranha's could have given two hoots if they were there. Then when they got back into their small paddle boat they took some dead ducks, dunked them in the water to get the blood to pollute the water, then jiggled them about.

One piranha sneaked up to the carcass, took a nibble and when it was safe the others just flocked on to it and you could see was some extremely pissed off water from above.

The duck carcass's were eating in under a second and the things swam off. They're sick little fish. Just awsome indeed.

I'm debating on doing a normal picture, or something to go along with the myth that they turn into men and impregnate ladies. Which would be hard since both my 'Sonas are girls XD

XD I was thinking of drawing Yaru as the Boto, since technically 'she' is genderless, and Gray who is more like me all preggers glaring from the shore banks.
