Endless Realms - Subterranean Labyrinth
Corebook artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
The subterranean world of Lumis being explored by a pair of intrepid adventurers, a Silean warrior and a Dengu mage. I was a bit concerned with doing more environmental illustrations for the game, but I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out :)

They could be quite frustrating, but for the time they were pretty visually stunning, and original. I found Myst III: Exile particularly immersive. I'm sure these days there are loads of screenshots/walkthroughs to get the experience vicariously, if you felt so inclined. :)
Yeah, my husband and I share most hobbies in one form or another - we both draw, play musical instruments/appreciate music, write, read, game, except he's way more into reading than I am, and I'm more into art and music than he is, but the overlap is still there which is nice :)
Heh, yeah, I made quite the base in my world - it's not quite upload-worthy or anything, though, plus I wouldn't be able to fit it on one screen. But yeah, it's got a big mysterious tower/mountain with catacombs/labyrinth/underground river underneath it, a giant tree-hotel/restaurant/resort, and a mostly-underground living space that built-in "nature spaces" and is lined by a hand-grown mushroom forest along the entire bottom length. I was going to start building sky-castles and stuff, but I eventually stopped playing and haven't gotten back into it >_>
