ok frist of all YES!!!! there is a old simple use by knights called Runic XD I can't believe it my self but I did find it hehe

Not sure what you mean, but 'runic' is a pretty well known and essentially famous thing :P

Thats what I was guessing. Which isn't really a 'symbol' as much as it's a language. Back in it's times it was as wide spread as english is today. Of course this was before english as it's known today existed

hmm, who knows XD I'm not the best informed of english history (always been more of an egypt buff than anything) so I wouldn't know.

Runes are more Germanic in origin actually.
Since they predate so much I think they would of been alongside most of the 'popular' research dates for egyptian stuff too :P
I'm the same in that way ^_^

Ooh, German XD Something I need to do more amateur research on actually... Now that I see it expressed as runes I know what you're talking about. Probably, I was always more fascinated with Mythology than anything.

Same here, Mythology got me into Egyptian culture, English history, Japanese story telling and Greek fables too. Along with mild research into Babalonian and Sumerian stuff.

XD I always did it as a fun thing, mostly specialized in Egyptian. Ended up hating all early world history classes 'cause I knew most of what I was being told already until we hit Greece and Rome where I had to pay attention.
