The oldest daughter of a family of merchants (and friends to Simon's own), Simon was smitten with her from a young age; and while she was at one point slated to take over the family business, Simon's proposal and her acceptance surprised nobody and eventually she came to lend her brilliant mind for numbers and commerce to managing the vineyard's finances. Shown here nibbling on a chewing stick, since even civilized rodents do need to keep their teeth filed down.
Anyone who knows her as a mother or as a friend would call her warm, a little silly, and extremely hospitable. Anyone who knows her as a merchant would call her shrewd, crafty, and unsettlingly persuasive. I'm not sure what Simon calls her, but it's probably along the lines of "Snoogaboo."
I was trying to figure out a color scheme for her for quite some time, but the obvious answer of making her in the vein of Simon's color scheme only occured to me surprisingly late. So here's Carla in living color, apparently in the midst of negotiating a rather large and lucrative shipment.
