Nearly three months ago, I'd posted the rare collector's ticket (#1 out of 500) I had acquired, for being one of the first patrons at the IMAX 3-D Cinema (within the Regal Theater at Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, Florida), to see one of the first American screenings of the Disney CGI feature "Zootopia". You can still view said ticket at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19295075/
On the back of the ticket, it announced that the next Disney movie to be screened at the same IMAX 3-D Cinema would be "The Jungle Book". So, I went back on Thursday, April 14, 2016 (one day before the official American debut of the film), and once again I'd received a collector's ticket for attending the screening (#16 out of 500). And on the back of that ticket was the announcement that the next Disney film to be screened at the IMAX 3-D Cinema would be "Alice Through The Looking Glass". So, I went to the Thursday, May 26, 2016 screening of "Alice..." and received my third collector's ticket for that flick (#2 out of 500).
For this unusual 'photo-op', I'm posting the artwork from all three collector's tickets. You might notice something similar about all three images - in which the main character(s) from each film appears to be walking away from the ticket holder! (On the "Zootopia" ticket, 'Nick' and 'Judy' are walking away; on "The Jungle Book" ticket, 'Mowgli' is riding on the back of 'Baloo' the bear, and yet we only get a rear view of this duo; and on the "Alice..." ticket, the 'Mad Hatter' is also heading off into the horizon!)
Dollars to donuts, if the next Disney feature to play on the IMAX big screen turns out to be the Pixar feature "Finding Dory", I'll bet you anything that the image on the next collector's ticket will be that of a school of fish - swimming away from the ticket holder!
