Self explanatory.
Every time i see someone on my bnet friends list play this, I have the urge to remove them immediately, because it only proves to me that they are a lemming.
The rage from the betrayal from blizzard making this abomination, and sacrificing the real games that made their company great...
It is not a finished game.
It has no campaign.
No real character story, let alone character development.
There is ZERO content in this thing.
PvP should have stayed as a gimmick genre that was something "extra" to play with siblings or friends.
It should have NEVER been allowed to evolve into this grotesque thing of "PVP-TROLLING: THE GAME".
Like it, or don't it's in scraps for a reason.

I gotta admit, i enjoyed playing. it sucks that theres no story mode for sure, and you would think with how much muns blizzard makes from things like World Of Warcraft (which i refuse to get sucked into paying to play on a monthly basis) that Blizzard would at least incorporate less MOBA like features. One friend i had complained that it was a first person arena shooter, but the Moba elements are literally the strongest thing. its essentially TF2 with Ultimates. I feel your pain.
I'm also aware that people throw their money/lives away for the next hyped up thing, which i want no part of.
Speaking of which, i was over with my brother last night getting supplies to help with backing up a lifeboat for my computer. He wanted to show me overwatch fanmade cartoon. I. DON'T. GIVE. A. SHIT.
I shut the monitor off, asked just for the supplies to get the job done, and left, not before commenting that he KNEW what my opinion on that game was, and i wanted nothing to do with it, and he should know better than do that on purpose to piss me off. -_-

here, watch the youtube link in this journal. the same scenario/situation applies to this topic, even though this topic is not ghost busters.

it's relevant because it's the exact same behavior of blatant fanboy-ism. where it gets thrown into my face by everyone who says it's the greatest thing ever when i just see a steaming pile. further-more reinforcing my statement; i was just needing supplies to life boat my computer while it's still functional, instead someone who KNOWS how much i hate a certain thing, decides that he wants to show me a thing anyways. same type of bs in that youtube link.
HERE WATCH THIS IT'S AMAZING!
how about no.
BUT YOU'LL LOVE IT!
oh really? you know what i like now? when did you become a mind reader? :T

with the uncountable instances where i constantly have needed to re-tell the reasons over and over again on why my dislikes are so numerous? it's passed the point of bothering to be polite about it anymore. it has literally been YEARS since i've been honestly happy about gaming in general. don't suggest other hobbies. i've had numerous, which burned me in the end. don't suggest other activities like outside; i don't care for the outdoor world because of assholes in school growing up. just don't bother trying to change other people who have had such trauma in the past, where there isn't much to try that remotely fits in the small niche of interests that they like, because it's all dead. today's entertainment and all the lemmings have done just that with the world. they circle jerked everything into moba's, shooters, under-developed indies, pay-to-win card games(both physical and digital), and of course there is the laziest game genre i've ever seen> visual novels.
just stop, you're wasting your proverbial breath. nothing is going to change my stance on what was just supposed to be a simple VENT image with a very SMALL description

Dude, I promise you I am not trying to change your stance on anything.
Like... are you okay? I mean, I know your profile says you're grumpy and bitter, but of course most of the time stuff like that isn't meant to be taken too seriously. But what I'm getting from this last comment is that you're having a hard time finding anything to enjoy, and that's often a bad sign. There are definitely times where I've felt like that, and... well, yeah, it's obviously not fun.

i play WoW, an MMO, to be alone. does that sound ok? to me it does, because it's what i've been doing on it ever since i started playing on it during classic/BC. but now i'm just going back to solo/hermit-mode on there because people are just cancer.
here's the paradox though: want in a heroic progression/casual raiding guild>>>i don't want to make friends with anyone in those groups/guilds, because i've experienced enough of those slackers/liars/scammers who just use you as a stepping stool to further their own personal progression/achievements.
BY THE WAY: "you don't have enough experience or run the warcraft-logs recorder to prove you have been in those boss fights and know the mechanics, since you stated that you don't watch videos on the fights." (even though they can easily pull up my character profile on the blizzard armory and see the proof of MULTIPLE WEEKLY KILLS/CLEARS OF THE ENTIRE RAID, but whatever enables the discrimination is OK nowadays.)
nice. i didn't realize that the world discriminates against learning disabilities based on the lack of ability to learn from watching, and being inhibited on only learning by DOING with a hands on approach.*sarcasm*

How about Heroes of the Storm? No story, just a mish-mash of heroes from ALL their games.
Jumping Devs:
Destiny?
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex First Assault Online?
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six SIEGE?
EVOLVE: Stage 2?
ARK: Survival Evolved?
Planetside2?
Nuclear Dawn?
Insurgency?
CSGO?
Your opinion, please! :)
Don't worry, won't bash opinions. :)

Out of the list of games you supported: i only played, and still do play, Ark. True it does not have an actual story mode of it's own. but it's a simulator that makes you live the game as your own story as you survive day to day in that hostile environment.
All of those other games and their genre's you listed do not appeal to me, or at least anymore. It can be argued that playing with people(friends) makes the game experience more enjoyable. I disagree with that because it's too frequent that people on the opposing side ruin it for everyone else. Between toxicity and/or pure saltiness.
(Tried OW at blizzcon with my brother this year. Just so i can say i tried it. Worst case scenario happened there with entire 5man team pre-made against: me and my brother, and 3 randoms. You can guess real fast what happened.)

For shooters when i did play them religiously; I preferred ones that were more vehicle/mechanized based, rather than infantry. I just don't like infantry games anymore, because they are dime-a-dozen and it's by far the laziest method of making a game, rather actually thinking of new and creative ways to imagine how the wars of the future would be fought. EG: multi-species intergalactic space/planetary battles.(star wars battlefront I-II for the classic xbox for example)
Also just throwing it out there: extreme prejudice against games that force you to play as human and automatically damn the other races of the game as the enemy.
Pretty much, every time someone links me a game and if the first playable species i see is human: 99% chance i will not like it at all. But i tend to watch the trailers for playable races/species all the way through, and i can guarantee you that every time now i have either been turned off from a game because all or nearly all races are human designed or there are just no non-human playable races/species.
Simplified example: Stands, walks, and has the exact same skeletal structure as a human, but has a lizard or a cat or anime or whatever skin. IT'S A GARBAGE AND LAZY DESIGN. (loli anime game: Tera)
(i swear to god every game company is afraid of having a playable species line-up that is all furry-based with no humans, or make the humans the great threat that should be annihilated)

Well, synopsis for Warframe, if you don't mind: it is fun, you play as "ninja" what they call "Tenno", of which there are several sub-sets to the story. Yeah, all the other races ARE out to get you, but from times to time you actually can work with them. Used to be a system to help them take over a portion of a planet. The secret you LEARN, is that things are not as they appear, and you're not technically even a human. Suffice to say, you also have your pick of "Frames", suits with specific powers, far different from your typical COD or HALO.
And yeah, it has been a while since a game company went "full furry" for a game. Last one that I fully recall was "ODDWORLD: Stranger's Wrath" for the Xbox. So funny, with a good story that had a lot of awesome moments, while being kid-friendly, with "hidden" adult jokes.
