Yeaaahhh.... I guess you could say the relationship between these two is, how to say, strained?
Full disclosure: This is a PG-13 rated story featuring regression, violence, and tragedy. I had somebody ask me how I would rate the level of graphicness to the story, and I think the closest analog would be the original Star Wars trilogy in terms of violence. Fundamentally, this is a war story, and things happen in war. You get the picture.

Far as I see it, military-like groups or hierarchies get pretty stupid when the superiors go on and on about their claims, that they are the most important members, claiming others, (the lesser ones), think they're so high and mighty. And all that.
Why is it these....egotistical chatterboxes are put in charge, oh yeah cause they WORKED before in these fields but they don't really WORK in them that much in the present.
Frankly, if I were in such a...brigade or group, rather say...crack a smile or joke like Pvt. Joker in "Full Metal Jacket" did, I'd probably lose my sh!t sooner than Pvt. Pyle did in the same movie...having someone just yell and talk shit at me without proving their own worth, (not as a solider but as a living, thinking, emotional being).
Can't wait to see where this goes.
