Hmm. Speaking of androids and shape-shifting, just how much capability do they have? I imagine they could do more than just hide their wings, considering magic and all.

Still not much as of Epsilon. They've made incremental improvements, but androids still don't have full access to magic. At this point it still boils down to triggering enchantments that someone else has made.

In that case, what do you think they could be capable of, if given the time?

Since it is possible for Beings and Creatures to cast spells, there must be an underlying biological mechanism that allows them to tap into the power. In theory it should be possible to duplicate that mechanism, allowing them to cast spells directly. But it would take considerable effort to achieve, especially since magic and tech don't get on terribly well.
It would be a bit of a game-changer and I'm not sure when, as a writer, it would be the right time to take that step.

I'm just trying to get an idea of what Android Tomara could do. I was thinking of some ideas for commissions concerning her, when I remembered that androids can't really shape-shift. I would imagine she could at least go from one feline species to another. Change her fur patterns/color, retract the tendrils on her head, etc.

I suspect they'll get some kind of shapeshifting to work eventually, but I don't know when.

I guess I'll just take some rational assumptions, then.
