Ebb and Flo are two alligator antagonists from the former Disney Channel show, The Little Mermaid TV Series. They only appear in the episode "Beached."
No sooner than King Triton beached Ariel and Arista (for arguing) banning them from going to the Carnival of Tides. Sebastian, of course, is then assigned to be their babysitter. The Gators arrive. Specifically, Flo and Ebb Gator, freshwater thieves. Their target is the royal treasure, left unguarded in the absence of King Triton's trident. Ariel and Arista quickly develop a truce; the Gators are the biggest threat, not each other. If they work together, they can stop the fiends from reaching the royal treasure. Oh, and Sebastian helps too.
Ariel is the titular character and protagonist of Disney's 1989 animated feature film The Little Mermaid and its 1992-1994 television series, 2000 sequel and 2008 prequel.
Ariel is based on the protagonist of Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale "The Little Mermaid", but was developed into a different personality for the 1989 animated film adaptation. Her distinct appearance consists of long red hair, a green tail, and a lavender seashell bra.
Ariel is voiced by Jodi Benson in most of her appearances and is the 4th official Disney Princess.
A stage musical version of the film debuted in 2007, in which the "live" role of Ariel was originated by Sierra Boggess and finalized by Chelsea Morgan Stock, who previously played her sister Andrina. She is portrayed live again in the ABC series Once Upon A Time by Joanna Garcia.
Arista is the fourth daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena. She wears her hair in a pony tail similar to Aquata's, although their bangs are different. She tends to take a lot of Aquata's things in Ariel's Beginning. In her television appearances, she tended to be jealous of Ariel's adventurous ways and joined her youngest sister on adventures. Based on the prequel film Ariel's Beginning, she is the most energetic one, though she adopts a more by-the-rules personality, by the time of the TV series, as shown in the episodes, "Against the Tide," and "Beached". Although, in the latter, a small bit of her energetic side surfaces again to help Ariel stop thieves from robbing the Royal Treasury.
