Please comment, positive, negative, whatever, it helps :)

A test first chapter of a planned larger novel set in the cheetaan universe, posted especially in hopes for some critics.

It is rather short, I pondered (and wrote and discarded) a lot on how this story should begin, and this felt about the best. I feel like it sufficiently summarizes the initial environment, leading right towards the interesting parts which should begin in the next chapter.

I won't be doing chapter by chapter posting, I believe a story must be written and polished as a whole, just would like to hear some opinions.
