The sound of light clicking mingled with the sounds of rock music in the small room. Luck stood in front of the television holding the plastic guitar proudly. Her fingers were near a blur as she focused on the colors flowing toward her on the screen. Beside her stood a pink vixen going at a much slower pace on her own guitar. She smiled as she watched the feline work. She seemed to be in her own world as she concentrated on the notes.
“…the power of the night warrior!” sang the band as the song ended. Luck wiped a little sweat off of her brow as she let the guitar controller hang off of her by the strap over her shoulder. Her ear twitched at the sound of light clapping coming from beside her and turned to see Sakura clapping for her.
“That was impressive Luck. You’re really good at this.” said the twin tailed vixen.
“Thanks. Dragonforce songs like that one are always a challenge on the harder difficulties, but I enjoy a challenge.” said Luck as she set the guitar in its stand next to the television before holding her hand out for Sakura’s. “Why don’t we take a break? You didn’t do too bad yourself Sakura.” said the feline with a smile.
“Even though it was on a lower difficulty than yours I made a lot of mistakes. I’m just happy I finished the song without being disqualified.” said the vixen handing the guitar to Luck.
“You did fine.” she assured the pink canid as she put the guitar away. Sakura was hanging out with Luck at Sly’s place while waiting for Maneki to return so that she can give her another rice ball cooking lesson. “Come on. I’ll pour you some lemonade. ‘Neki made it fresh this morning.” offered Luck.
“That sounds good. Oh Luck I’ve been meaning to ask, may I borrow or use your punching bag sometime?” asked Sakura curiously.
“Punching bag? Why do you think I would have one of those? Though now that you mention it; it might not be a bad idea to get one sometime.” mused Luck.
“Oh I assumed you had one because of the small hooks in the ceiling. Maneki has them all over the ceiling in her room too. Aren’t those for hanging a punching bag?” asked Sakura curiously.
“Oh those…erm well no those aren’t for a punching bag. Those are called…anchor points.” said Luck.
“Anchor points? What are they for?” asked Sakura.
“Well…They’re for securing something…or someone…in bondage during sex.” said Luck a little awkwardly.
“Oh…So…then Maneki really is into…that.” said Sakura a little absently.
“Yes. Her biggest kink is being tied up either before or during sex. She likes the helpless feeling it leaves and gets a rush from being dominated.” explained Luck. Sakura’s face was red at Luck’s description. Maneki had mentioned that she was into bondage in passing, but Sakura hadn’t really thought much of it. It was interesting having this insight.
“So she does this with Sly then?” asked the vixen curiously.
“She and Sly share that kink; though he likes the flipside of the coin. She likes being bound, and he likes doing the binding. It’s one of the things that’s brought them very close.” mused Luck. Sakura’s ears drooped a little at the last part of that sentence. She didn’t like being reminded of how close Sly and Maneki were.
“But wait; you have anchor points in your room too.” noted Sakura aloud.
“Well I may not be as into it myself, but when your lover is into something so heavily, it’s only natural that you’ll indulge in it to make them happy right?” asked Luck.
“By lover, do you mean Maneki?” asked Sakura next, fearing the answer.
“’Neki? No I…oh right you don’t know. I asked Sly not to tell anyone.” said Luck thoughtfully.
“You asked Sly not to tell anyone what?” asked Sakura confused.
“Well. I guess I’m not as uncomfortable about people knowing now. Though I was against it when I first came here, ‘Neki’s not his only ‘Pet’ anymore.” said Luck as a glow took over her necklace. Sakura noted the glow and marveled as the chain that she always saw Luck wearing shift and change into a green collar. She gasped in surprise upon seeing it.
“You and Sly are…Master and pet too?” asked Sakura.
“Yeah. It surprised me too considering where I came from and the mentality I gained from being there. But if I’m honest with myself I always knew, and it took my subconscious to make me not ignore it anymore.” explained Luck rubbing her collar tag fondly.
“Maneki mentioned you’d had recurring dreams in the past. Is that what they were about?” asked Sakura curiously.
“Yes. And since I acknowledged and accepted it, and him as my Master I’ve been much happier.” said Luck as a soft knock on the door caught the attention of both females. “Come in ‘Neki.” she called.
“Hello Lucky, Sakura. I’m home. Are you ready for my next lesson?” asked the calico after opening the door and sticking her head into the room.
“Yes. We were just heading to the kitchen ‘Neki. She’ll be out in a minute.” said Luck. Maneki smiled and closed the door after hearing this to go get ready herself. “Listen Sakura. ‘Neki told me that you’ve been having recurring dreams yourself, and though I don’t know exactly what about, having known you for the past couple of years I can hazard a guess that it’s about your relationship with Sly. The only advice I can give you is to trust yourself whatever it is. No one knows you better than yourself. It may not work for you, but as ‘Neki told you before I would suggest that you interact with your dream. You might find the clarity that you’re looking for. I did.” said Luck as she opened the door.
Sakura sighed to herself softly. Did everyone know about her feelings for Sly? “Alright. Thanks for the advice Luck. I appreciate it. I should get to Maneki’s lesson now.” said the pink vixen turning to leave.
“I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do on the matter. I’ll talk to you later Sakura.” said Luck as Sakura went down the hall. “You’ve put yourself through enough of a wait Sakura. Everyone can see how much you want to be close to him. Give this to yourself. Trust yourself. You’ll be a lot happier for it.” said Luck softly with a smile as she closed the door and picked up her guitar again.

I agree with wrytergirl as well. Sakura's personality in general is quite charming. Oh and I remember the stress of attempting Through Fire and Flames in Guitar Hero....I totally sucked lol

Another relatively innocent chapter. Nice to see a bit of Luck's interest in Guitar Hero and music--interesting to see that, although she's a musician herself, Sakura has trouble with Guitar Hero. I recognize that it's a very different set of skills, but I would think there would still be some overlap in terms of rhythm, sense of musical timing, and even a bit of the hand coordination if Sakura plays some kind of hand instrument. Or perhaps she's being thrown off because Guitar Hero is nothing like actually playing guitar so her real world experience is more hindrance than help.
I find it kind of strange how clueless Sakura is about those anchor points, since she knows that Maneki is into bondage with Sly. I guess she wouldn't have realized that Luck was as well, which could contribute to not getting it right away.

Sakura is a pianist, which already is worlds different from being a guitarist. But also being musically inclined usually messes with people who try to play guitar hero because the way the game works has nothing to do with how the music is actually played.
Yes. She was unaware that Luck participates in it with Sly as well. And again, her only knowledge of bdsm comes from porn, which usually doesn't spend a lot of time on "setup" or showing the little details of how someone is secured. So being that Luck is a tough girl, she assumed it had to be for something like a punching bag.
