And Now for Something Completely Different:
A cover illustration for a self-published book. This is the Broadway Limited going over the Horseshoe Curve; you can currently see three F40PH engines in phase three paint, along with a baggage car. The tracks are wooden instead of concrete because this is meant to be in '95.
The tracks are a little too close together, urf.
The animation to this is available, kinda, to a point- I had to switch over to working flat after ShiPainter (HEY REMEMBER THAT LAST IMAGE IT ATE? THE BLACK AND GREEN RABBIT? YEAH, THIS IS WHY I DON'T USE IT) chucked its biscuits. Thankfully, it's the halfway interesting part, the sketching and fleshing out of the shapes and curves involved. It cuts off right before I start lining, and there's nothing nice to watch about how I line and colour if you've already seen it eighty times. http://www.oekakiart.com/viewanis.php?id=52116

Very nice! *faves*
Kind of funny though... I was actually talking to my boyfriend about getting into train chasing again this excursion season like my mom does from time to time.
XDD Seeing this just makes me want to even more. *hugs* Thou hath lead me into temptation! *grabs her camera and runs*

wow, I really love the perspective. And after looking up the train on Google, I'll say you got it looking pretty damn accurate! Also liking the little details like how you made the tracks wooden instead of concrete so they look like they're from the 90's, the research into it definitely paid off :D For some reason I love pictures like this on white backgrounds that make the main subject of the picture stand out. Overall I really like it =]
