Well.... the truth is, i cant discuss my REAL apple pie recipe because its a family secret, so its against my code of honor. Instead, i made a recipe that can be both easy and its so good that you have to be forced to make due to the fact that it requires reduced products.
Ingredients: 2 pie crusts (1 pack of pie crusts), flour, 1 can of apple pie filling, and 1 egg.
Steps: before the clock hits midnight, start off with slitting 4 slits on the bottom of the pie crust in the tray it comes in. After, preheat the oven to a temp that the can says to put it on and pour your filling into the crust you just made holes in While its heating up, take the other pie crust by making it to a ball. While thats done, take a cutting board or wax paper (any smooth surface) and sprinkle powder onto the surface, creating a thin blanket. Make the chunks of the ball of premade dough crust, roll it into a noodle shape into the flour, pat it down flat, and make it go across the pie itself, both horizontally and vertically. Continue the process until the pattern completely resembles the top crust of the pie. Next beat one egg in a bowl and brush the egg onto the upper layer of the pie to give that golden look. After that, place in the oven, wait till its brown, and serve!
*From Chris: Cooking time: Approximately 30-35 minutes, depending on the type of oven, usually at 350F.
