From our RolePlay: After a tumultuous first encounter, the vampire Valentine and Drac became very good friends and very close, with Drac even becoming Valentine's pet. After some time together, Valentine offered him the choice to become a vampire like her. After careful consideration, Drac agreed and Valentine performed the procedure, injecting her DNA in his bloodstream. The metamorphosis was excruciatingly painful, packing on muscle, height and the growth of horns. Much to his masters delight.
