What's the difference between a geek and a nerd

That didn't really help I know I'm one of them at least.

Always viewed it as a geek wants to learn current knowledge of their interest and collect all memorabilia related to their interest while a nerd doesn't really care about the collecting but more the learning and skill acquirement from said learning.

I think a good example would be a comic book collector who just enjoys collecting stuff related to the series and learning all trivia would be a geek while the nerd would be more interested in learning things about that comic series to benefit their own artistic pursuits like the artist's study habits and technique, but they may collect stuff sometimes.

Ok then I'm a little bit of both then
