It was a bad situation, ISIS insurgents had us boxed in as we had to make a run for the POWs they had held up in a building. It was me, our driver, my commanding officer, and about six of our remaining unit. I didn't know how they got the jump on us, but there we were, until... She came.
Circuit came in with her rifle blazing and gave us an opening of fallen troops. She charged into the mess with us, and dove shooting while avoiding a grenade that was thrown.
"Circuit." Captain Charles addressed her "They're just ahead, they're in the fourth building." No thank you, or any sign of gratitude, just an order. "Get them out of there."
None the less, she just ran for the building shooting people in her way.
"Sir, Why could you treat her like that?" I asked Charles "She just saved us."
"Save it, Harry." Charles ordered "We'll hold the line till she gets them back here." he then brought the stock to his chin and looked about
I did the same, but I needed an answer. "Sir. I've read the files on her, She's an America hero."
"It's a weapon." Charles said "It just is doing his job." Then he shot at the east side of our extraction point. "Contacts!"
We took cover and took some shots back at them, but they had more than just foot soldiers. I saw coming up fast was a truck with a gun mount, the mount turned much of the cover to rubber. I had to run for cover new cover when it tore my barrier apart. I wasn't so lucky running into a building, I got hit in the ankle first. Pinned down I tried to get going, but the aim from the ground was terrible.
Then, she came back with the POWs, and as she ran she picked me up and ran for the trucks. The men pulled me in, but one of the men were shot in the process. In response, Circuit turned and shot at the soldiers who were firing on us.
"Get us out of here!" Charles shouted as he got in, and like that, the truck sped away.
"But What about Circuit?" I asked "We can't just leave her!"
"We can, and we will." Charles said "It'll be fine. just forget about it."
"It saved my life!" I Shouted at him, and then I cried out in pain as the medic pour antioxidant on my ankle. "We need to go pack for her."
"We're not risking more lives!" Charles shouted "No lock it down!"
I was angry, and upset. How could we leave her? I looked out the back and just watched as she just stood there ready to either kill the impossible odds, or die... and we just left her... It or her, I still could've gone back... I planned to report Charles to higher authorities when we got back to base...

Another look into Analie's past. One of abandonment and a show of some who would care for her still instead of as an it.
I plan a new chapter with the team Analie soon became a part of instead of all this dark, mean-spirited torture-esc stuff.
