Bogo: "When I agreed to have a story about my life published I never agreed to having photos taken of me in my briefs!"

Simba: "It's a marketing gimmick, just go with it...."

Boz "Yea! It'll be great publicity...besides I've seen way racier stuff of you popping up (and popping out) all over the place!"

Bogo: "WHAT?!"

Forgive the description here it’s my usual self-indulgent ramblings, heh…

Like most fur-folks I’ve been digging Zootopia, not just for the tigers (though they’re what drew me into it the first place) but overall it’s a good movie with a lot of great characters, and movies with good anthro characters (whose designs aren’t over exaggerated, especially in cgi films) are on the short supply side. So I love it, just everything about it.

The last time I watched it I found myself particularly drawn to ‘Bogo’, who pretty much embodies what I like in characters, tough, muscular, surly, with very little revealed about him. So my mind got racing as I wanted to fill in the blanks, and I came up with an outline of story that I was pretty much obsessing over for a full day and a half…

Though there’s some good ‘fics’ out there that feature Bogo, most actually have him pairing up with ‘Clawhauser’…which is a cute concept but, I can’t see the two together…at all. Don’t get me wrong, the cheetah is likeable enough, but their personalities just don’t mash to me…so I thought of someone else, who, though not as introverted and brusque as Bogo, can still be a little rough around the edges at times, too.

Anyways, without giving away much of it, the story will be called ‘Across the hall’, and I just wanted to do something to encourage me to stick with the idea, and figured it was a good excuse to put him in the ‘monthly’ pic I try to do of me and simba.

…I mention encouraging me to stay with the story and continue working on it, as I’ve wanted to do a story about ‘Zeb’ from Star wars rebels for going on three years now…and just haven’t had enough ambition. Doing a star wars story is a little intimidating to me honestly, but I will eventually get to that too. As well I've got numerous other stories to write and I don't want it getting lost among the various other writings...
