Oh gosh.. I really like both ! Although, I can see why some might think he is a short-tailed cat in the other version. The ears definitely tell me he is part rabbit, and the tail is so unusual (to be on a rabbit), that it immediately tells the viewer that this character is a hybrid of some sort. Which is a cabbit, in this case. x3

yeah, i was trying to get the artist who did the ref to change it up if possible, but he wouldn't respond to my messages. and i agree, it was always confused for either a short tailed cat or just a bunny, so i wanted to branch his design out a bit and change it up. i honestly think this looks better on him, as much as i love cute lil bunny tails. thank you for letting me know what you think ^^
