Haha, I just have a strange drawing style. I press the ball of my hand against the tablet and kinda...lock my wrist, Its how I find it easier for me to draw tight details XD Though it makes for a mad callas D;

That's actually a nice technique, I should try it myself too, once! :3 I can imagine your wrist falls off after a while of drawing this way, though XD

what resolution are you doing this in

around 1300 x somthin, so not huge

coming out beautifully so far, yeah i'm sure yer wrist is achin' right now from all this but coming out great. fer some reason i just really like the soft subtle touch with the whiskers.

hehe thank you, and no secret! I just drew every little fur detail by hand with a tiny pixel brush on around 70% opacity ^^

The fur textures look awesomely groomed, and I love that you've actually changed the way it's rendered depending on the shape of the body part it's on and it's angle to the viewer. :3

Before you move on to the background, make sure all the objects that are interacting with the character look natural - right now the hand seems to rest uncomfortably right on the edge against the table corner, maybe consider moving the table a little to the left and closer towards the screen? So there'd be more for the character to lean against? Just a thought.

Also, I think the eye could really benefit from something little extra, like a faint hand drawn texture (dunno what would fit the character, but a slight spiral texture for instance.) Right now it's not really noticeable unless you specifically look for it, but it's a little bland when the fur is crazy detailed.

But I don't want to butt in where I'm not wanted, just say if I'm being too intrusive with the critique. :)

This has got to be the best Ive see in a very long time. Very good job. From the fur to the texture on the paw pads, its off the chain. Again very good job. Definate fav and a watch!

I'm blown away. The fur looks so soft and touchable. The face and posture ooze expressiveness. I think my favorite part, though, is the use of color. The way the red and black fur contrast, compliment and intermingle in the markings. The fiery golden stripe, the little freckle-sized spots, the cute purple and black spotted pawpads and startling green claws..

I know I'm just gushing at this point, but I love it.
