This big SOB was done as part of a final project back in 3rd year of my major. I decided to make a series of gods for a mythology that never existed. The jar next to him is meant to be an offering vessel.

Asbestos is made with hand-sculpted parts and the jar is wheel-thrown, but unlike the rest of my stuff they were done using a method called soda-firing.
