Indeed! This is like my 3rd or 4th. But this is the first where I've tried to get the feel of a city without painstakingly painting every detail x3

Wow, seriously? Marcus must have given you a HECK of a description. The mistcloak and the city aren't merely "just how I pictured them": they're BETTER pictures than I had in my mind.

I highly recommend them, when you get the chance. Sanderson is a real gift to the fantasy genre.

It's a book series, that is completly awesome and he captured it well. The idea is that people with the magic ability of the world can mess with metal and influence emotions. I could fangasm over this.

ahem, they actually draw themselves towards their metal or repel themselves using blue lines of force(only visible to them) that repel from their center of gravity. The hands are just an affectation and don't actually change the allomancy.

Still, I was able to tell what the piece was supposed to be without looking at the description at all, so A+! And fuck, you should be proud of that city scape, I very much like it. The windows, the spires, the tilt, this is a very very nice piece and I think I'll be looking for commissioning you in the future because of how good it is.

Woo! Thanks! I didn't know about the color thing, but in this particular case I'm going to say artistic interpretation, as blue would look worse in this very earthy colored scene than orange, haha. But I'm super glad you like it and look forward to your possible commission in the future

I missed this when you first posted it. Holy fu*k this is amazing! Of course I also really love D&D type city-scapes. This reminds me of something from the Ravnica Magic: the gathering set.
