Description from the original sketch:

Kit leaped up into the tree, steadying herself and looking around. Her ears twitched, picking up the subtle noises of the forest. This is what her mother had trained her for so long ago. To hunt, to live in the forest. Why? She wasn't meant to be around people, to live in the city as she had been told. What her mother hadn't told her was that she was also part duskwing.

Kit shook her head, clearing her thoughts. Her ears perked as she caught the noise of the brush rustling under her. She pulled out her bow, prepping it. Time to work..
