Oh god the shrunk version of this looks so bad - full view please (and tips for not getting this horrible red ickyness) :(
Anyway, this is part of my trade with
twinklestah which I am slowly finishing off XD It's her wolf/wolves character (like um, siamese wolves? I'm not sure what you call it :3 ), watching over her.
The pointy legs and arms of the human were inspired by twinklestah herself, as I don't really have a new style for drawing humans yet XD
The title of this pic came to me whilst drawing it, from a song by The Zutons:
"Well I'm sure there's someone watching over me
at night, while i'm sleeping.
'Cos no harm ever seems to come to me,
at night, while i'm sleeping
They never let me wake to see
who could be standing and guarding me
And when the morning comes
they never seem to stick around"
I don't usually like how my backgrounds turn out but this was pretty fun to do - I hope she likes it :3 I am getting much more comfortable with drawing wolves now :D

Wow, I really never thought of how the wolves would translate into another style Xandy. The way you use your fills and solid tones for shading really adds a very sage and stoic nature to them
And the sort of trails you used to outline the wolves and the stars makes it seem like the padded gently out from the shadows of a dream to watch over her. Theres something so increadibly peaceful and kind about the expressions on the wolves faces.
I bet Cally will absolutely love it. The wolves really are a favorite of mine, and your rendition is soo natural ^__^

Aw thank you. I just hate the thumbnail, it looks all baaad :( I'm glad you got how I kinda tried to make them seem a bit more like a dream or spirits, Cally does it so well but it took a while for me to decide how to do that in my own style ^^

Aww.... this is just so, so beautiful and AW, the Wolves look SO CUTE in your style. And yes, they look like happy dreamlings, which is what they're kind of supposed to be. I LOVE the background! It's so cute & quaint and...oddly video game-y! <3
