They're not bad, they're just mediocre.
The first one had potential, but the Krome dropped the ball on the second one. And while the third had impressive visuals, the gameplay and story were so bland or microscopic, respectively, and not to mention dismally short.
Really, though, I like Cynder, all the characters were a lot more likable in the reboot then in the original, and while Spyro seemed like he'd been hit with the "Frodo" cookie-cutter of character design, it was far better then him being the purple, fire-breathing embodiment of Bart Simpson.
I know, it has almost always been otherwise with games and cinema, but I pray to god that the Spyro movie will be half-decent.

they're fine, but i can't get over how dramatic it is, i mean SPYRO IS VOICED BY ELIJAH WOOD.
considering the last spyro game i played before it was spyro 1 on psx i was cracking up

Im not sure about the first in the new spyro games but the second and third ones you shouldnt get. Ask a friend whos got it what happens or something but trust me when i say that those games are not worth the money you pay for them. The graphics are pretty good and all but the storyline is almost non-existent and the ending of it will just leave you feeling cheated (if you can actually call it an ending). If they turn all three into one game (very easily done id say considering how short they are) then id say go ahead and get it but until then stick with the classics. (Its a real disappointment that they had to screw up these games cause cynder could have actually been a really good character in them.) Anyway even if you do get the game id suggest turning the thing off when you beat the final boss. Trust me when i say that it is not worth watching the final cutscene.
Yeah, I'll step in and say that the Legend of Spyro series isn't a bad set of games. Just don't go in expecting the greatness of Insomniac. The art design is fun, the story's not too bad, and the music is lovely.
Of all of the pieces you did with Cynder for this expansion set, this one is my favorite. The armor accentuates the figure she already has quite nicely.
