Fun fact: the Rivadavia-class battleships were the only battleships built in the U.S. for another nation. Also while Argentina, Brazil, and Chile ordered battleships from other nations, the ships being built in European yards were confiscated at the start of WW1. Resulting in Brazil and Chile not recieving their ships while Argentina got hers thanks to American neutrality.
