Kisa is a Skinwalker, or in Navajo, Yeenadlooshi. In some Native American traditions, particularly the Southwest, there are people who gain the ability to transform into feral animals, as well as superhuman abilities. These people are called Skinwalkers. In the Navajo version of the legend, skinwalkers are evil with glowing orange eyes, and commit crimes against others at night. These crimes range from stealing to murder, either by physical means, magic, or "corpse poison".

Personality-wise, Kisa is rude, shy and standoffish when approached. Keeping true to the skinwalker legend, she is very stealthy, has unnatural strength and speed, and has certain magical abilities. She may also behave seductively, if she believes it will be more productive than using force or magic. She morphs into a large feral coyote, with only her silver jewelry left to identify her. If you cross paths with her, watch out! She's liable to kill and/or eat you!
