Well this might look a bit familiar to you. This is the 'inked' version of my sweet eagle fem, complete with stippling and ink washes. I kinda like this stark version of her, but then I'm simple like that. ;)
This is soon to be in the post as a gift for a very good friend.

*bows and bukaws!* Thank, sexy boar. Inking is just Zen to me for some reason. I can never get enough of it...or enough time to really explore it as I should. I've done two works today, but one is still drying. My house is so cold that it takes a long time for things to set up. Get this! My Higgins ink cleaner turned solid on me it's so cold. I did't know it would do that! Freaky. ;)
Higgins works great! It'll peel the ink right off. I let nibs sit overnight usually in a glass bowl.
As to the drawing? I get them as big as I can. It's on an 8.5 X 11 page (Borden and Riley #234 Paris) and nearly fills the page. I find that in my old age I need to work as big as I can. My eyes..... MY EYES!

Hey there, stud-raptor. Yeah, it took a while to do, though I can't really tell you how long, maybe a couple of hours. I always kinda get lost in time when I ink, it just takes me away. I do love my ink. I often forget about stippling for some reason, but it usually has a very striking effect if done right.
Thanks so much for the comment. :)
