My 1986 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z. Broken right now and in bad disrepair, but I hope to drop a brand new engine in her this summer, along the lines of a 427ci monster.

Yeah, that's what she's got already. I myself don't like working on fuel injected cars, I much prefer the carborated engine. Plus, in a car this small, with the stock transmission, a 427 will blast anything that comes it's way. Plus, nothin is more fun than gettin the back end loose. Hours of fun, and horror for your friends X3

Yeah the 350 never came with the manual because it didn't handle the power when they tested mating it with a 5 speed.
They only started selling the 350 in the IROC midway through 1986 so yours must be closer to an 87.
Don't ever sell this beauty!

305? I can't even imagine an engine that small! Plus, that would do an IROC-Z injustice to have a little motor like that in there :3

Nice 3rd gen! Are you going for a big block 427, or a bored and stroked small block? I fixed up an '82 Z28 when I was in high school. It was a fun car. These days, I drive a '96.

Small block all the way man. I always loved the fact that a small block Chevy, if tinkered with right, can produce as much if not more than its big block counterpart. And I've alway been a little biased to third gen Camaros. I wonder why X3

Look into LT1s. They're the same as small blocks are dirt cheap, make 300hp STOCK and hav reaaaaly simple FI

i have a 75 an 82 and a 94 my 82 ran 13 seconds at the dragstrip after that the headgasket blew screwed everything up
