Drawn way back when, as a promo piece for the early years of Feral! the furry summer camp that I had helped run many, many years ago. Yeah, it's more old stuff from my archives. Still worth sharing here, I'd say.
Farley was the mascot for Feral! back then. A lynx with a knack for the great Canadian Outdoors. Here, he's just chilling and enjoying the view from sort of vista. The white pines in the background are drawn in a style reminiscent of Tom Thomson, one of the artists of the early 20th century that had done a lot of artwork on site throughout the Algonquin region and Ontario's north, related to the famous "Group of Seven" artists.
Brushed ink and watercolour paint on watercolour paper stock. That's real media, folks!
