I'm resubmitting this from before, and considering FAs current situation, it suddenly became a lot more relevant. There's a very real chance it'll be my last submission on the site. Not making any promises either way, but there's no getting around to the fact that I have lost more submissions on this site than any other art site I've been on (I haven't lost ANY submissions on any other site, actually.) And most of them hasn't been to hackers, but due to an FA mod with a grudge against me (who thankfully got kicked out, which makes me wonder if the staff still stands by the defense of him they gave me when trying to alert them of the issue, but that's besides the point.)
Ultimately, I'm very set in my ways and don't like getting accustomed to a new site or community, and moving my stuff is just a pain, so it's not unlikely that I'll stick around out of pure inertia. I'm just saying that nothing about how the site is run has given me any reason to stay, it's pretty much all the community and lingering good will at this point, and both seem to be fading fast.
EDIT: Because of Furaffinity's new layout, thumbnails are larger or smaller based on their width. This means that tall pictures are squeezed to the side and left forgotten while wide pictures hog all the space. A wide thumbnail can be as big as five tall submissions and this opens up a lot of oppertunity for abuse. If you can, let Furaffinity know this is a problem, that prolly won't change anything but one can always hope.

I try not to make dramatic "I'm leaving FA!" posts as people have a tendency to come crawling back after those. And indeed, I don't WANT to leave, this site is the one I've been on longest that I still use, I got some roots here. Not to mention the fact that I don't adjust to change well and prefer my routines. But, it seems poised to slide into irrelevance as a cumulative result of bad management, so I should at least plan for that possibility.
The funny thing about this image is that it sounds so much like a swipe against FA in retrospect that I should point out that I drew it way before they introduced a CAPTCHA-system as a parody of sci-fi tropes. And I actually felt the joke was a little behind the times as people in the comments pointed out that Captchas aren't really used much anymore, as the technology to beat them have existed for years.
From this we can conclude that like all great sci-fi writers, I posses an uncanny ability to predict the future. I am the Nostradamus of our times and all should bow before my precognition, for all that shall be is written in the Book of the Owls!
